Hi, I'm Hannah

I'm a research scientist with a vested interest in public communication. My scientific work explored how the brain handles uncertainty during language comprehension (e.g., did they say cat or cap? Or "who is talking right now?") via a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods (including behavioral and neuroimaging, surveys, eyetracking). Meanwhile, my outreach work blends audience-first approaches with compelling design that brings that science out of the lab and into the public.
